I'm planning on writing a real post soon! I've now moved into residence at university which is a little surreal. I really like the campus, and the residence is really nice. It sure is different from Capernwray! But I'm also missing Capernwray and my friends a lot... More to come. ;)

I've had a cold for the last couple of days — yuck. Slept/stayed on the couch most of yesterday and this morning, but I made it to my last period class (creative writing). We're starting a poetry unit, which is fun. Nice to get into poetry writing more and practise up, especially since high school English is all essay writing. I might post a poem or two... :)

Not much else happening. I'm getting a bit busier, with work on the weekends (bleh), and driving lessons, and now I'll have to be practising for leading worship, first for an FNL retreat coming up, and then for camp in the summer. Only two weeks until we go up to camp for a work/training weekend — I'm getting so excited for camp! It will be so much fun.

Also coming up is prom — fun but a bit... well, for some reason I'm feeling anxious about it. I mean, I'd like to go, but I don't really have a good group of friends to go with. There are friends of mine going, but different groups... For some reason it just seems awkward, but that's probably me just making a bigger deal out of everything and just worrying for no reason. It will be fun to go and get dressed up and hang out with friends. :)
